Blackberry pearl could have been better with 5 MP camera, integrated GPS and upgraded music player…..cant buy it!

Hi Drake,
If you want to have an inexpensive Blackberry phone, go for Pearl 8110. If the phone is equipped with high-tech features, you have to pay some extra for it. Now the ball is in your court…either expensive phone with high-tech features or reasonably priced phone with average features.

According to price of this phone it doesn’t looks that much remarkable. It has a good sound quality same as Nokia phone but camera quality is poor. And main problem is it gets hangs up a lot…Also while attending calls it hangs up and unable to continue it …

This Blackberry phone has everything packed in such good manner. I am big fan of Nokia but I like this blackberry model as it has good battery backup and very easy to send/receive emails.

Blackberry is a reliable name in mobile phones market but I will not suggest you to buy this phone. So buy any high end Sony Ericsson phone having stunning multimedia features rather than wasting your money only for the name-Blackberry!

A well-designed phone from BlackBerry! I used it for 2 weeks and gave it to my sister as she loved that phone. Well, using Pearl is pleasure unless and until you start up the web browser, which is horrible. Extremely slow and lags down, sometimes switches off by itself stopping all your applications.

Once you get used to BB phones you get addicted to them. Used to have BlackBerry before changing over to HTC was not happy, so changed back and got 8120 Pearl and I am happy to be back in the BB family. This phone is light weighed and easy at hand. Navigation is easy and plus it has got Wi-Fi. I like that fun face book application installed in it.

for all u confused people, in the 8120, you can “only” read attachment files like Word, excel, powerpoint, PDF and “not” edit them..

I found everything just great in my BlackBerry Pearl 8120. Still lack of 3G and GPS is little disappointing for me. But I am enjoying my phone.

Got it in November and this BB is the best one from all of its family members. The best thing in this one is that though I am using it for the past six months now, its scroll is working fine. The BB I used before lagged down within a period of two months. This thing amazed me a lot.
