I think a text alert light would be a great addition. I don't see what's wrong with a phcaiysl home key it's hardly obtrusive!I disagree with Sam that a qwerty slider should be incorporated it would completely change the look and weight of the phone. Perhaps it could be made to feel less plasticy titanium? I'm pretty sure realistic updates will include a) better camera; b) something similar to siri; c) icecream sandwich and d) more memory.Possibilites: change in screen size; stylus included; better battery (I hope!) ; more user-friendly home-screens; message alert light and dual-core processor.But really, who can tell, or dare to dream?

Camera dont have flash which is sad. But anyways you can update this phone to Gingerbread and it works fine with it. light weight smart phone. overall phone is good. 4/5 from me.

Well , i would say that samsung is realy doing great! It has to stay slim as it is , battrey life must be expanded further more. Processor speed must be increased. All the softwares & applications that a genuine iphone 4 or 4s have , all these must be included in the galaxy S3. Imagine taking the picture of somebody & applying special effects on it , how wonderful that picture would be! Such as applying as real ghost as the background on the pictures that you've just taken, i mean same as the iphone 4. As an amateur who likes to take lots of pictures , i would have like the samsung to be equipped with the same camera as that contained in the Nokia N8 ( 12megapixel with zenon flash). Just to say that i recently take a picture with a genuine iphone4 having a 5 megapixel camera & compare it with the same picture taken from the nokia N8 , my god!!! , i was shocked to see how even though the N8 was well equipped with such a good 12Mpixel camera , xenon flash, the picture taken with the iphone4 was far more better than the nokia N8 picture. The more we look ahead , the more we will get drowned into sophisticated technology ! I personally think that nowadays , nobody wants to hold a bulky laptop in their hands , we all want the finest of all the things that can get our jobs done in the easiest ways, i mean holding the ultimate Samsung in our hands , the only one with greater performance!

But dude as you are saying carrying is a problem, its better to carry a bigger phone with higher resolution and application rather than carrying phone with laptop. Does it make sense?

I would like to go for this phone because it comes up with Snapdragon S4 MSM8974 Quad Core, Adreno 320, 2GB Ram, 12 mp 1080p camera, 4.5 display. what more you want in a phone. It is easy to carry as well which is biggest problems with bigger phone.

hey i would suggest to upgrade your phone OS with Gingerbread 2.3.3 Firmware. Just upgrade OS first and then check out those Appls.

Oh..many application is giving prob wit Froyo OS...ANy solution....
Bluetooth head set is getting disconnected and later on phone gets hang up...Anyone facing same problem here with phone.

last four months i m using this phone and it is really nice and simple phone. Performance wise it is smooth and gives fast response but only issue is with its display, as it is not so easily visible in sunlight and hang up once in a week.
