Almost for 1 year I am using it and it works superbly. the camera just seems to be getting better everyday.. The handset is fitted with a 2 MP camera with a display of 256K colors and 176x220 wide screens. Its 5 way navigation key makes features easily accessible for every category of user. It is worth to buy it.

Great phone…Camera is superb…Pictures are very clear and also not blur at all. Battery backup is not so bad; battery life is approx 3 days talk time but it gives only 2 days backup after listening to music.

Even I am facing same problem of switching off unnecessarily and also freezes while shifting from one application to another. Features like camera and Bluetooth works smoothly.

What a poor battery backup… While playing games with music battery drains very fast. It also hang-ups very frequent and sometimes just gets off. Is it only my mobile problem or is it bug of V630?

V630 is music phone which is sold exclusively through Vodafone. It is packed with good features like Picture Blogging, 3D games, Bluetooth, 3G, USB etc. All features are great and work smoothly but battery backup is very poor. Battery life is not so good so you need to charge it almost daily.

go for the v630. If u r a music freak then this one is for you. Make sure to buy the Vodafone version of it & u can have the fun of interactive music also & yes the vodafone DJ feature is too good. I got this 5 months ago & is too good.

V630 is a real troublesome phone. it switches off frequently, also the voice of the person calling is not clear & sometimes the buttons get pressed just like that, all these problems really made it impossible for me to use it & I dumped it to settle for a new N series phone & now I have a peace of mind.

Excellent phone but the accessories like M2 card are too expensive, as it is exclusive from sony. Has any one tried using a different card, as there are cards available in the market which are much cheaper than the one from Sony. Pls tell me.

I am using this one for last 6 months almost and never faced any kinda problem with it. may be I am lucky or my V630 handset is an exclusive one. Yes, the battery life is a little grey area but my use is also very extensive, i.e. almost 6-7 hrs a day, so I can’t complain, but definitely I need to charge it every night, if I forget then gone. But I have put a reminder to myself in the phone & now its everyday practise.

yes it is possible to change the menus, may the chap at the retailer shop was not smart enough to show it to you. I got it changed, they had to change the firmware ( I don’t know actually they changed or upgraded) & now it is working fine. I had to leave it at the shop for 2 days, but its cool.

How is the camera quality of this one? I am talking about taking photos in night or with low light, can any one send me a few samples of the actual photos taken by them? I don’t go by the advertisements as they always paint a gloomy picture of their product; I want to know from the horse’s mouth. Thanks in advance.

Hi Walker,
I had a serious problems with my v630 of turning off & on, yes u r right; it use to mostly happen when the bluetooth music on. This went on & on for about 3 months, later I got mine replaced from SE and now it is working wonders. Go and buy it, don’t turn ur back at it.

Is there a non vodafone version of V630 available? As I read lot of reviews and every one says the phone dies frequently when bluetooth music is on, I love the looks and feel of it, I handled it many times in few of the shops as I keep on going in to buy this phone & turn back at it w/o buying it, what should I do? I love this v630, but it keeps on hanging quite often, specially when I am playing games like tennis. cant it digest the hi speed of the game? or every one facing the similar problem? And 2-3 times it didn’t restart also, my retailer removed the battery & put it back then only it became alive. I have stopped playing games, but then whats the use of having the games in?

Beautiful music device, but the battery life is a pain, all these including the brochure I got in the box claim talk time as @ 7 hrs, but inspite of my usages of not more than 3 hrs a day it keeps on draining & have to charge everyday, is it because of the bluetooth? any solution for it? if not I am returning it.
