well, UMA (Unlicensed Mobile Access) is toggling between ur landline and mobile number. Its also known as GAN (Generic Access Network) . if the base station is your home area then your automatically switch to your home number.

About everyone who is badgering 6136 for not having BT it has WiFi and that’s what I wanted. I own this phone for a year and it has given me no problems at all. Look at the brighter side, it has internet, camera, email, radio, music and most important it is NOKIA…!

its just a matter of choice guys! Those who prefer BT go for 6125 and those who prefer wifi go for 6136. actually there are many more varieties available in the market today that are 100 times better than these oldies. Just sell them off, if anyone has them (except those ones who have brought its second hand..:LOL)

I still have this phone (for the last 1 year). Actually it was gifted to me by my father. That why I have kept it. Otherwise who would want to watch photos clicked from a 1.3 mp camera that too on a 128 x 160 px resolution.

I completely agree with aamir. In many asian countries wi-fi is still not available and bluetooth is much more dependable. Phones like 6136 don’t work here and for the last 2 years I really wonder how many pieces they must have sold.

The most contradictory part of Nokia 6136: It has some very high-tech features like Wi-Fi but it doesn’t have Bluetooth for transferring the data. We don’t expect such mistakes from Nokia?

Nokia was in a confused state of mind when it manufactured this phone. It includes WiFi but what about Bluetooth? wifi takes up a lot of battery power than BT. we should have been given a choice of BT.

I am a big fan of Nokia phones and also I always wanted a clamshell phone with some multimedia features. So I bought Nokia 6136. But when I came to know about the fact that it doesn’t have Bluetooth, I was shocked!

Pros of this phone:
i. Nice lightweight folder type design. ii. Easy to use iii. Good sound quality iv. FM radio
Cons of this phone:
i. Average battery life ii. Low-resolution display iii. Camera not good enough iv. No Bluetooth.

i bought this awesome phone just before a week and I am happy with its functioning. Ignore negative opinions, as some people don’t have the courage to say GOOD to anything they watch. So buy it, it’s a nice handheld.

The most pathetic phone I have ever used. I was not aware about the fact that 6136 doesn’t have Bluetooth. Now I cant help it out because I have already bought it. Please don’t buy this phone at all!
