How do I make video call with nokia 5610?

You can't compare the 5610 and the SE K790i because one is predominantly a music phone and the other is predominantly a camera phone. You can't say which is better - you can only say which is better FOR YOU, and this would depend on what priorities you have in a phone.

Have heard of some people saying the battery only lasts one day. Mine however lasts 3-4 days under normal use. I'm using a 4GB Scandisk memory card which works perfectly. It won't work without the back cover on though, for some strange reason.

Deepak - I agree with most of your pros and cons. I'm also comparing it to the W810 as it was one of my last phones. It had a much smaller screen of course, but did have the dedicated play/pause button. The Nokia has another advantage though, which some may not have realized - in flight mode you can access all the other functions including photos, games etc whereas on the W810 you can only access music - important if you fly a lot, which I do. They improved this on the W580, but that phone doesn't have auto focus or flash.
The lack of 3.5mm jack is simply because of the extra link needed for the remote control button - you will see that the plug has 4 connectors, not 3, but you can of course plug any headphones into the adaptor part. Sony makes a headset with a very short lead, and an extension lead too, making it ideal for use with remote control adaptors - I bought one of these yesterday for £17.99 on Amazon.com.
I actually prefer the power button on the "end" key - recent Sony offerings on the top of the phone have been VERY fiddly to operate - especially on the W580i.
Oh, and there are 2 other ways to lock the keypad, other than using the "go to" button. There's the tradition way of "menu" then "*", and also when you shut the slider, for around 5 seconds the centre button says "lock", and then changes back to "menu" after that time.

I loved my W810 but the lack of flight mode functions was annoying for me, and of course it was getting on a bit. The W580 was not a good replacement since it had a much poorer camera. The 5610 seemed to have everything I wanted in a phone. Yes I can find some faults with it, but then the perfect phone doesn't exist - indeed it CAN'T exist, since we all have different preferences.

I just bought a 5610. Well and here are my initial impressions, if it could help any one of you.
Pros: Nice looking phone, same form factor as a W810i, a bit slimmer though.
Nice light in the music slider n around the navigation-pad.
Slide Mechanism smooth, but of course requires some effort to slide open.
Very good keypad, glossy n comfy. Pleasure to type.
Active stand-by shortcut bar.
Brilliant Screen.
Very intuitive n cool music slider under the screen. You can toggle between the music players, home screen the radio.
Excellent Sound. Dedicated sound chip. I must confess its overall better than walkman series, with a good headphone though.
Sharp speakers
Natural looking photos with the 3.2mp cam.
Flash n auto focus.
Videos in VGA rest at 15 fps. Better than most phones.
Opera Mini n Yahoo Go!
Can use as a Removable disk when connected to a PC. In other words, data storage.

Cons:
Using the phone for sometime in closed slider position makes your wrist and thumb ache. At least for me, because I also owned a W810i which had its navi d-pad in the centre. 5610 navi d-pad is below, so it’s better to slide it open n use if u use it for a long time.
A very hard navi d-pad key, certainly not fun to play around, requires quite an effort. I long for a joystick.
Rests of the keys on the face are equally hard to press, making a clicking noise.
Camera shutter key not so good. Too small n does not provide a proper feedback for auto focus.
Pathetic volume rocker. Tiny steel like keys, pain in he neck to press, unlike the projected volume keys of W810i.
Speakers not as powerful as N73ME.
Active- standby bar n go-to key could've been replaced by the very practical Shortcut/Application Switcher key in Sony phones, because u can toggling between applications from anywhere is a breeze n u can return to your application as u had left it. And it also acts as a shortcut key.
The music slider opens the music player in a jiffy but it'll return back to the home screen, exiting your ongoing application.
I terribly miss the play/pause button from the W810i with which u can play n pause from literally anywhere, any game.
While watching videos, if not paused or stopped will make it run in the background, with the volume on.
The phone is not lightning fast.
Photos just a bit dull, but natural.
User interface cannot compete with the overall Walkman series interface, which looked into every detail ever so beautifully.
No 3.5mm jack.
Headphones not the best. I am using my walkman headphones attached to the 2.5mm adapter.
Radio gets switched on in the background n pressing the power/end call button for 3 seconds switches it off.
No separate power button, Sony phones just have single press power button, unlike nokias which we have to keep it pressed for ages to switch it on n off.
No proper Luck key. Lock key is provided as a shortcut in the Go-to section.

Well, more on it later. I am not crooning or complaining, but on the whole, it’s a pretty good phone, just runs short of being the most practical n user friendly phone. Good for a change.

Wish me luck!
