There was no official announcement that the company will introduce the device into their cell phone portfolio but Verizon already offers two G’zOne handsets, so why not this one?

Verizon is doing great lately. The company offers a wide range of handsets from basic features devices to the latest diamonds of the mobile phone industry. Subscribers keep on flooding Verizon stones and with a good reason. Verizon is reliable and affordable.

In any case, the G’zOne Boulder is a clamshell handset who was designed no to fail under water or to any other abuses. The device is probably great for any traveler and it may be perfect for all extreme sports fans. Drag it in dust, throw it, drown it and it will still function, or at least this is what the developer says.

The Casio G’zOne Boulder comes with a small but unbreakable 1.3 megapixel camera. It also supports Bluetooth and has a microSD card slot up to 8GB for all the storage space needed. The device is definitely made for adventurers and travelers as it was built to resist water, dirt and shocks and in addition has a built-in digital compass and a LED flashlight. The handset supports EV-DO networks and GPS.

Prices have been announced! The Casion G’zOne Boulder will be available in three colors: black, silver and orange. It will cost about $130 for a two year contract. Prices may vary as the device is not yet released through a mobile phone operator.
