Sony Ericsson has recently announced that it will launch a mobile phone service made with unlimited music downloads in the next few weeks. The company is competing with Nokia as the Finns try to conquer the mobile music scene.

 

Sony Ericsson will introduce in the near future a new service called Play Now Plus with will be available through telecoms operators and will give users access to millions of songs.

 

In Sweden the service will launch with Telenor, one of the country’s main mobile phone operators, in Q4 this year and will spread around the world starting 2009. A special phone will be released in this matter, Sony Ericsson W902 Walkman phone that will, of course, include PlayNow plus.

 

The service will cost 99 Swedish crowns a month.
