Samsung Trance comes to Verizon V.J. | , 3:01 après-midi avr. 10, 2009 2009-04-10

A new handset will replace the old Samsung Juke in Verizon’s portfolio of music phones. The new music-centered Samsung Trance is expected to become available as soon as April 24.

Samsung Trance is a pretty cool slider that comes with a 2.1 inch display with a resolution of 176 X 220 pixels. It also comes with a modest 1.3 megapixel camera, however, the handset was not built to satisfy mobile photography needs.

The new handset comes with about 1GB of internal memory enabling users to store a decent number of music files and it also supports a microSD memory card slot that can extend the memory to up to 16GB.

Samsun Trance comes with CDMA 1X 800/1900 mHz Digital Only capabilities, a 3.5 mm Headset Jack, Bluetooth connectivity, support for Mobile Email, Mobile Web, VZ Navigator, Chaperone Parent and Chat as well as V Cast Music with Rhapsody support. The new handset has a music player that can play MP3, WMA, unprotected AAC and AAC+ formats.

The Samsung Trance is expected to come for about $50 with a two-year contract agreement. It can also be purchased free of contract, however, for the price of nearly $220.
