Motorola is the most popular handset manufacturer in the US. Its mobile phones are sold in every part of the world but in the US is where Motorola has real success. Latest marketing analysis suggests that Motorola is no. 1 in the US.

The company plans to release a new handset that will hit the markets in December. The new device will be enrolled in the Q series and has some interesting features and a cool design.

The upcoming Motorola Q 11 comes with WiFi, GPS but not 3G. Albeit it has a QWERTY keyboard below its QVGA display. The new model will have 64 MB of Ram and a microSD/SDHC card slot for storage.

Moto Q11 runs Windows Mobile 6.1 Standard and it is a quad-band GSM phone with EDGE and HSDPA and Bluetooth support. Additionally it will incorporate a 3 megapixel camera with fixed focus and LED flash.

The handset’s battery is quite interesting as it offers over 450 minutes of talk time and about 195 hours in standby mode. Motorola Q11 measures about 117 x 64 x 11.7 mm and weights no more that 115 grams.

Motorola Q11 is set to be launched in December but pricing details are unknown for the moment.
