HTC unveils the Wildfire V.J. | , 10:27 après-midi mai 17, 2010 2010-05-17

Taiwanese mobile phone manufacturer has unveiled a new handset that will run on Google’s Android operating system. The HTC Wildfire is expected to become available in the European and Asian markets in Q3.

The phone comes with HTC Sense user interface, a 5 megapixel camera with autofocus and LED flash. In addition, the handset is equipped with A-GPS, WiFi and Bluetooth 2.1 + EDR connectivity support. The phone comes with 512MB ROM and 384 MB RAM.

The handset comes with a 3.2 inch QVGA display and is powered by a 528 GHz processor. Wildfire supports dual-band (900/ 2100 MHz) 7.2Mbps HSPA connectivity.

As mentioned above, the phone will hit European and Asian markets in Q3. Virgin Mobile will release the HTC Wildfire in the UK. A release date for the U.S. was not announced, however.
