audio qlty of this phone is excellent, specially with my BT..the interface is not at all sluggish and you can navigate easily..but the minus points is the battery life and ringer (I think many customers are having this prob.)..even if u switch to vibrate, the vibrating alert volume is quite low..

the ascending ringer is not all usefull..you have to constantly keep the phone close to u so that u don’t miss any calls or messages..that’s one drawback in this phone that there is no provision in this phone for deciding if u want ringer ascending or not

I have searched the net and also co. sites a lot for the accessories of Glimmer and whether I could upgrade this phone..but no luck till now..but otherwise the phone is too gd..the tuchscreen is smooth and the slider doesn’t make any noises of any kind while opening..the interface is also very fast..

Stunning and elegant slider phone… It has a quite large screen along with sturdy metal body. Look-wise this phone seems superb but I just hope it will work smoothly and respond fast. Eagerly waiting to come out in market.

Alltel is the best network service provider in town. And if Alltel is offering its ‘anytime change plans’ with Glimmer then I would be the first to buy it.

I am really not impressed by its battery life, considering it features GPS. Also it doesn’t have radio. Sad but true.

this phone is really wonderful, gr8, but why the name Glimmer? I don’t see any shine or glimmer in the handset design. Also this phone is available in US from March 13, but will it be available in Europe.

this phone is a good mix of Viewty and Shine and I completely disagree with mona..in fact its better than Shine..shine was all design but completely lacked in features. Viewty is the best among the three, but Glimmer has incorporated many of its features like touchscreen, good camera (may be not 5 MP) and gr8 memory capacity. In fact Glimmer even has GPS

Yes, this phone is available only under Alltel. It has been launched into markets on Mar. 13 and will approx. cost $ 250.

most of the reviews are saying that this phone is a cross between Viewty and Shine but this phone is nowhere near the two above amazing mentioned phones. The finishing that these two phones had was marvellous. Specially ‘Shine’. And I don’t see a trace of the so called ‘glimmer’ on this new LG mobile.
