- Go to Sony Ericsson site: www.sonyericsson.com
- Select your region and country
- Select support section; select your phone W300 from drop down list.
- Go to Update your phone Software link, select via your computer with the Update Service application option.
- Download updated software to your PC and then follow the instructions provided on that link.

Generally it takes just 15-20 minutes to update your phone depending upon the internet connection speed at your place.
