To transfer files, use File transfer mode.
Connect the USB cable to the phone and computer. Then select File Transfer and check phone or memory card on windows explorer.

Did u install Adobe Photoshop Album Starter Edition from SE PC Suite CD?
If not then please install it to transfer and organize pictures on the pc.
