i am doubtful, their must be some hidden charges.. becoz idea charges Rs.30 / month

According to me, there are no any hidden charges but it is valid only for new activations post 1st January.

Just dial toll free no. 543211888 and follow simple instructions.
And from 2nd month, you will be charged Rs 30/- per month
