i just bought a 3100-classic (Nokia). I continued my previous service provider, so i used the same sim card for my new mobile..but this phone is not accepting the SIM card..i am able to receive and make calls but unable to receive SMS's..What the hell can the problem be..?

Just try inserting back the SIM back into ur old handset and see if its working..if ur old handset is working, then it means ur new Nokia is not accepting the old SIM card..

yes dumbo..i have tried it inserting it back into my old mobile and its working..i want the answer, not the theory.. redface

Hey tyr1! redface there no need to get so rude..! BTW have you correctly assigned the SMSC (SMS Center) on your new mobile..maybe that's where the answer lies..
