The Samsung Adidas miCoach cellphone is a
result of collaboration between Samsung and Adidas, brought in the market
especially for avid sports lovers who want their exercise routine to be more
exciting and enjoyable. Its specialities are its two assistants namely ‘heart
rate monitor’ and ‘stride sensor’. The heart rate monitor is a belt that is
supposed to be tied around your chest for measuring your heart rate so that the
phone will tell you whether you should buck up your speed or slow down while running.
The stride sensor helps in evaluating your workout by counting the distance
covered, speed and stride.
If you connect your phone to its official
fitness website then there are 220 training programmes available and four
training zones depending upon your initial evaluation.
Eventually I feel the Samsung miCoach is
going to give tough competition to Nike and Apple iPhone partnership.
